Various outings

I TOLD you I had a lot of catching up to do. Those of you who are friends who check in mainly for my writing and thoughts will have to be patient...grandparents NEED their grand-kid picture fix... :)
Our last trip to our beloved Como Zoo in MN...the boys LOVE the lions best.

Noah just loved this Orangutan because she was cuddling her new little baby.
I feel sorry for the giraffes in winter - their pen is so small for the 3 of them. I suppose it beats outside in MN when you are an African mammal...
Medieval putt-putt at Grand Slam. My brave Knights.

Sometimes I wish this were still available. And legal.
Not exactly sure what they are doing here, but I'm positive it involves guarding the treasure from the bad guys. Somehow, it always comes back to protecting something from those bad guys.
The ball pit at the Eagle's Nest in New Brighton. Even mommy likes that one!

Ethan's Kindergarten Program

End of the year program for the K-3 class of North Heights. I surprised Ethan by being there. I will treasure the smile on his face when he saw me walk in.

No one can ever accuse Ethan of not being enthusiastic. Guess he gets the drama from his mama! :)

Ethan and his buddy, Benjamin.
Ethan and his BESTEST buddy, Seth. I think he connected with Seth because Seth's daddy doesn't live with him, either.

The class did a little play about the letters of the alphabet helping the little I find it's missing dot. Ethan played the letters E and R. Big Bird would have been proud.

Ethan's Kindergarten Awards

My little man wakes up so excited and asks if he can wear a tie to school. Today is the last day and there will be an awards ceremony.

Ethan took this pic of his best friend, Seth.
Ethan and his teacher, Mrs. Rollerson
Christian Character Award, Kindergarten Diploma, and award for memorizing all 26 of his Bible Verses! Mommy is so proud of him!

Easter '08

Now this is where having boys makes up for all the cute, frilly outfits you don't get to play with...is there anything cuter than 2 little boys in SUITS??? Oh, and tidy whiteys for 3 year olds are pretty adorable without the lace and frill... :)

PS - do you have any idea how difficult it is to find ties for a 3 year old? Unless you buy the entire ensemble together, good luck finding something that matches. But the end result is worth the search.

At Isaac's Birthday

Ethan, Noah, and some of their good friends from Real Life Church. It's Isaac's birthday and they all got to go "Cosmic Bowling" for the first time. They are hooked!

Catching up: Ethan's birthday

And here is birthday #6...is it really possible?

CUPCAKES....I LOVE CUPCAKES!!!!

We can hardly ever have a photo session without this face anymore.

Ethan has enough blow power for he and Noah combined. I have to make him refrain for Noah's birthday - he always wants to "help". Course, the spit is included free of charge.

Catching up: Noah's Birthday

Here are some photos from Noah's birthday in March.
I don't need no stinkin' fork...

A birthday hug from big brother (not the creepy, invading your personal freedoms one...)

A pweasant as big as me????

He still has a bit of trouble with that whole "blow" thing...
